This Desktop Companion software enables remote access to your computer. By installing and using it, you agree to the terms on this page and our Terms & Conditions.
What This Software Does
The Desktop Companion ("the Agent") allows authorised mobile devices to send commands to this computer. The Agent is designed to work with Creator Studios Labs mobile applications, such as DeckPilot.
- Launch approved applications on this computer
- Control OBS Studio (scene switching, source control, streaming)
- Trigger macros and automated sequences
- Synchronise workspace configurations (buttons, pages, layouts)
- Execute remote commands received through the cloud service
Consent Required
During installation or first launch, you will be asked to actively approve:
- Linking this computer to your Creator Studios Labs account
- Enabling remote access from paired mobile devices
- Starting the Agent automatically with Windows or macOS
- Allowing the Agent to execute automations
- Allowing the Agent to launch applications on this computer
Do not enable internet remote access silently. The Agent must always show its connection status and paired devices visibly in its interface.
Privacy & Data
The Agent collects and transmits the following information to Creator Studios Labs servers:
- A unique desktop device identifier
- The computer name and operating system
- The Agent version number
- Connection status and session logs
- Command acknowledgements

Security Warning
Only pair devices that you trust
A paired mobile device can execute commands on this computer, including launching applications, controlling OBS, and triggering automations. Never pair a device unless you are certain it belongs to you or someone you authorise.
If you suspect a device has been paired without your authorisation:
- Open the Agent and revoke the device immediately
- Change your account password
- Contact support at support@creatorstudioslabs.stream
Your Controls
The Agent provides the following controls at all times through its interface:
- Connected account: Shows which account the Agent is linked toRemote access status: Shows whether remote access is active or pausedConnected devices: Lists all currently paired mobile devicesLast command: Displays the most recent command receivedPause remote access: Temporarily stops accepting remote commandsRevoke access: Remove a paired device immediatelySign out: Disconnect from the accountExit Agent: Quit the application entirely
Updates & Compatibility
The Agent may receive automatic updates to maintain compatibility, improve security, or add features. You can configure update behaviour in the Agent settings.
The Agent may stop functioning if it is not updated for an extended period. Continued use of the remote access service may require the latest version.
Uninstallation
You can uninstall the Agent at any time using standard operating system procedures:
- Windows: Settings → Apps → Installed Apps → Select the Agent → UninstallmacOS: Finder → Applications → Drag the Agent to Trash
Uninstalling the Agent does not delete your account. To delete your account, see our account deletion page.
