These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, applications, desktop software, cloud services, and other products provided by Creator Studios Labs ("we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using our website, software, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.

1About Creator Studios Labs

Creator Studios Labs develops software tools designed for creators, livestreamers, and production teams. We are based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Our products may include:

• Mobile applications (e.g., DeckPilot)
• Desktop software (e.g., OBS Plugin Installer)
• Cloud account and synchronisation services
• Streaming utilities
• Creator productivity tools
• Software that integrates with OBS Studio or other platforms

These Terms apply to all services provided by Creator Studios Labs.

2Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading our software, or using any of our services, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

3Account Registration

Some features require you to create an account. When you register, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Not create accounts using automated methods (bots, scripts)
• Promptly update your information if it changes

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised use of your account, contact us immediately at support@creatorstudioslabs.stream.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4Desktop Companion Agent

Our desktop companion software ("Desktop Agent") allows authorised mobile devices to send commands to the computer on which it is installed.

By installing the Desktop Agent, you acknowledge:

• The Desktop Agent may launch approved applications, control OBS Studio, trigger macros, and synchronise configurations
• The Desktop Agent will connect to our cloud infrastructure to receive commands from paired mobile devices
• The Desktop Agent may start automatically with your operating system if you choose that option during installation
• You are responsible for ensuring the Desktop Agent is only installed on computers you own or are authorised to manage
• Only pair devices that you trust — paired devices can execute commands on your computer

The Desktop Agent must show visibly at all times:

• The connected account email or username
• Remote access status (active or paused)
• Connected devices
• The last command received

You can pause remote access, revoke a paired device, sign out, or exit the Desktop Agent at any time through its interface.

5Authorised Remote Access

By pairing a desktop computer with your account, you confirm that you own the connected computer or have explicit permission from its owner to install the Desktop Agent and grant remote access.

You may only control computers that you own or are authorised to manage. You must not use our services to access any computer without the knowledge and consent of its owner.

When connecting a desktop for the first time, you will be required to confirm that you own the computer or have permission to control it.

6Prohibited Use

You must not use our services for:

• Unauthorised access: Accessing any computer, system, or network without permission
• Covert monitoring or spying: Using our software to monitor, record, or control a computer without the knowledge and consent of its user
• Illegal activity: Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Disruption: Attempting to disrupt, degrade, or interfere with our services or other users' access
• Reverse engineering: Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code unless expressly permitted by law
• Automated abuse: Using bots, scrapers, or automated systems to access or interact with our services

7Macros & Automation

Our services may allow you to create and trigger macros, automated sequences, and other automated actions.

You are solely responsible for:

• The macros and automated sequences you create or execute
• Ensuring your macros do not violate any third-party terms of service (e.g., OBS Studio, streaming platforms)
• Any consequences resulting from the execution of your macros

Creator Studios Labs is not responsible for the behaviour of macros or automated sequences created by users.

8Remote Commands

Remote commands sent from your mobile device to your Desktop Agent are relayed through our cloud infrastructure in real time.

You acknowledge that:

• Commands may fail or be delayed due to network conditions, device availability, or system configuration
• We do not guarantee delivery or execution of any remote command
• Command history is retained for 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy
• You are responsible for the consequences of any command you send

9Use of Our Website and Apps

You agree to use our website and applications only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

• Misuse or attempt to disrupt our services
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code unless permitted by law
• Attempt to bypass security measures
• Use the software in ways that violate applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if these terms are violated.

10Third-Party Services

Our services may interact with third-party services including:

• Google Play Services
• Google Play Billing
• Advertising networks
• Analytics providers
• External software such as OBS Studio
• Cloud infrastructure providers

These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Creator Studios Labs is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

11Purchases & Subscriptions

Our apps may offer optional premium features, purchases, or subscriptions through Google Play Billing, Apple In-App Purchase, or other platform payment systems.

Current payments

• Payments are processed securely through the platform payment system
• Pricing is determined by the platform store in your region
• Creator Studios Labs does not receive or store payment card information

Future subscriptions

We may introduce subscription-based features in the future. When we do, the following will apply:

• Subscription terms, pricing, and billing frequency will be clearly disclosed before purchase
• Subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your platform account settings (Google Play or Apple App Store)

Refunds & cancellation

• All billing disputes and refund requests should follow the relevant platform's refund policies
• Cancellation of a subscription stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing for new subscriptions, with notice to existing subscribers

12Updates and Changes

We may update or modify our applications, website, desktop software, or services at any time.

This may include:

• Adding new features
• Improving performance
• Fixing bugs
• Changing or removing functionality
• Requiring software updates for continued use

We are not obligated to maintain older versions of the software. Continued use of our services may require installing the latest version of our apps and desktop agents.

13Service Availability

We strive to keep our apps, desktop agents, and cloud services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Services may occasionally be unavailable due to:

• Maintenance and upgrades
• Technical issues
• Network interruptions
• Third-party service failures
• Events beyond our reasonable control

We are not liable for any loss arising from service unavailability.

14Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and materials provided by Creator Studios Labs are protected by intellectual property laws.

This includes:

• App and software designs
• Source code and compiled binaries
• Logos, trademarks, and branding
• Website content
• Documentation and guides

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reproduce these materials without our express written permission.

We do not claim ownership of the content you create or configure within our tools (such as macros, layouts, or scene configurations).

15User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of their devices and accounts
• Choosing strong passwords and keeping them confidential
• Configuring their software correctly
• Ensuring compatibility with supported systems
• Understanding the implications of pairing devices and granting remote access

Creator Studios Labs is not responsible for issues resulting from incorrect configurations, weak passwords, unauthorised account access, or unsupported environments.

16Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services, including your account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in unauthorised or prohibited use
• Your conduct could harm other users or our services
• You fail to pay applicable fees (where payment features exist)
• We are required to do so by law

You may delete your account at any time through in-app settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately.

17Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available."

We do not guarantee that:

• The software will be error-free
• The services will meet all user expectations
• The apps or desktop agent will work with every device or configuration
• Remote commands will be delivered or executed without delay or failure

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

18Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Creator Studios Labs, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data or damage to devices
• Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities
• Business interruptions
• Damages resulting from software malfunction, misuse, or unauthorised access
• Damages arising from failed or delayed remote commands
• Damages arising from macros or automated sequences created by users

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim. This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

19Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

If you are a consumer in another jurisdiction, you may also have legal rights in your country of residence.

20Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes occur:

• The updated Terms will be posted on this page
• The "Last Updated" date will be revised
• Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice

Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
